Getting to the chapel - A guide to Wedding Transport

Wedding Car

After all the wedding planning that you have worked so hard on, there’s one thing that is one of the most overlooked element in the wedding: how are you going to get there? Whether you have planned for a wedding car, are still considering a limo, or have absolutely no idea, here are some helpful tips that can get you to your wedding on time!

Wedding Breakast takes a look at wedding transport:

There is a lot to consider before you decide on the perfect transportation to your wedding.  First of all you want to figure your budget, how many are in your bridal party, whether you want it formal or informal, how far you have to travel, and if you want to transfer all of your guests.  All of these factors are important to consider and must be taken into account before any decisions are made.

After you have figured out what you would like to spend on the transportation to the wedding, it’s time to figure out what you would like to arrive in.  You could pick a horse and carriage.  Picture yourself arriving at your wedding in a four wheeled, perfect especially for a Victorian-themed wedding and possibly the most romantic.  Another great idea would be to rent an exotic car, one that is designed for speed.  Or why don’t you go classic?  Classic cars are always in style and are perfect for pictures.  If you have a lot in your wedding party, it’s usually a good idea to go for a limo.  The classic of all weddings, you’ll feel great being chauffeured around in this long luxury car.  Most now have mini fridges, stocked bars, and great music so the wedding party can even do some pre-wedding toasting!

If none of these seem right for your wedding, here are some alternatives.  Imagine showing up to your wedding in a helicopter or even a fire truck!  These are just some of the alternative wedding transportation choices that you have available to you. Why not show up in a hot air balloon or throw everyone off and use hearses!  The sky is the limit when it comes to picking the perfect transportation to your wedding.  Just remember that if it moves, it can probably be hired as a wedding vehicle for your special day!

Every type of transportation that you look at will have its pros and cons.  It is also very likely that not everyone will appreciate the transportation that you choose, but remember, it’s your day! Just weigh out the pros and cons as well as the wedding parties opinions, and figure out what ideas work best for you and your future spouse. This decision shouldn’t be daunting, so try to check it off you list early. Or make your choice, then pass on the duty of reserving, scheduling, paying, etc. all to the Best Man or the Chief Bridesmaid. Once you choose your mode of transportation, let someone else handle the details of what company is hired.
