The next in our series on the brides of Bridal Boudoir features Lisa from episode 8 in the series. Originally mum of three Lisa has lost her glamor and confidence; it’s up to the team to make her feel fabulous again! Here's her story and catch up with the episode below:
"We got married on 29th July. It was an amazing day, and everything i had dreamed of all came together beautifully.
The show gave me the confidence to go with lots of ideas which i had originally thought would be too over the top for me.
I didnt end up wearing the dress i was given. My dress had a similar look, but i fell in love with it instantly amd was not as overwhelmed with the dress picked for me. But without the show, i would not have thought that style of dress would have suited my height and frame.
I had always wanted to go for elaborate shoes, and there were none that fitted me on the day, so i went for it with Irregular choice!
I wore my lovely tiara that was custom made for me, through the show.
But the biggest think i took away with me was the hair and make-up. In fact, Bernice, who did my make up on the show, came to Leicestershire and did them for me. It was my big treat to myself and worth every penny. She varied the hair slightly, but that was based on my decision to go with a veil and the fact that i kept the tiara. I wanted my hair to come up as high as the tiara. I felt like a princess on the day, and stayed immaculate all day.
